Updated http://share.timc3.com from my own custom file viewer to the EUWDPCpix file brower created by humhum creator pea aka Peter Dekkers. This version allows nice thumbnails (if I hadn’t have used save for web on each of my photos!), and probably a better layout, though I am going to change the CSS once I get home to something more inline with the old style.

Comments OffBeen meaning to link to this amazing site about a womans (Elena’s) journey on her bike though the DeadZone near Chernobyl for quite some time as it is truely one of the best sites around at the moment. It is as breathtaking as a website can be, an one of the best uses of the internet so far. That hit counter really is going up with some pace.

This is an amazing looking building and light system, you must also check out the RealVideo’s of the display of the building.. “
BIX is a light- and media installation for the Kunsthaus Graz in Austria which transforms the acrylic glass facade of the Kunsthaus in a low resolution computer display – we call it the “communicative display skin”. BIX is not only one of the biggest (900m2) but from an architectural point of view one of the most integrated media facades.”

Ever wanted to send email from the shell, but also to give it a Mime type so that the mail reader doesn’t just put your attachment straight into the body of the message ( envoking mail myemail@mydomain.com < myattachment , will include the attachment but won’t split the message up). Well this handy little example will let you from an easy to modify Perl script: http://www.akadia.com/services/email_attachments_using_perl.html
You will have install the MIME-lite bits and pieces: http://www.cpan.org/modules/by-module/MIME/MIME-Lite-2.117.tar.gz but thats no big deal really. I now have backup .tar.gz and more being emailed from my servers nightly as a cron job.
